Can I see a list of all candidates at once?

Purpose: The list of candidates includes all candidates you can view regardless of what job openings for which they applied. This guide will show you the candidate list and what features are available when you view all candidates at once.

Candidates

Screenshot of the BambooHR dashboard. In the left sidebar, the Hiring tab is outlined. The main panel displays the Candidates page with five candidates listed in a table. Columns shown: Candidate Info, Job Opening, Status, Rating, and Last Email. The row for Jeremy Steel is expanded with a menu showing options: View Resume, Add a Comment, Move Candidate, and Delete Candidate.

Navigate the Hiring tab to click Candidates to see a list of all candidates you have access to view. The following columns will show in this list:

  1. Candidate Info
  2. Job Opening
  3. Status
  4. Rating
  5. Last Email
  6. Quick action links (resume, website, profile, comment, move, delete) *Hover over a candidate line and click on the three dots to view these options.

The list will show you if a candidate has applied for or been added to other job openings. Also, it will help your recruiters and hiring leads to have a better understanding of candidates and their histories while screening for job positions.

A candidate's email address determines their identity. If a candidate applies for more than one position when using the same email, this action will show in the candidate list under the name of the job in the Job Opening column. Click (#) jobs to see the candidate's information for both job positions. For example, using the image above, I would click 2 jobs to see the details for both positions Mona Flowers has applied for.

Filter

The results table shows five candidates with job openings and statuses.

There is a filter menu on the left side under the Candidates tab where you can filter candidates based on Job Status, Job Opening, Candidate Status, Star Rating, Application Date, Source, Job Location, and Hiring Lead. Each section is expandable with additional filter options for you to check. To clear your current filter selections, click Reset. A modal will appear for you to confirm the reset before the filters are cleared.

Custom Filters

Once a combination of filters has been selected beyond the default options, a star will appear in the top right corner of the filter menu.
