The Emails tab

All email interactions display in a stream format on the Emails tab. The stream sorts in reverse chronological order. All email messages have a collapsed state but can be expanded to see all content, including any attached files. From the Emails tab, you can choose the following commands:

  1. Create a new email to send to the candidate. You will have the option to compose a new message or choose a template to send. Tip: You can also use the quick action email button in the top right corner if you want to send a message regardless of where you are on the candidate's profile.
  2. Attachment: If an email has an attachment, you will see a paperclip icon. Expand the email message to view the attached file.
  3. Status: Once you send an email message to the candidate, you can see its current status. There are four email statuses that help you track if a candidate has or has not received your message.
  4. Email details: You can see an email message's sender and recipient information along with a timestamp of the message.
  5. Expand/Collapse: Click on a message to expand the content. Click the collapse button to collapse the email message.
  6. Reply: Click on a message or hover over it to see the reply button. You can reply to any email messages from the candidate within BambooHR or your outside email client.
  7. Scheduled email: If you do not want to send an email to the candidate immediately, you can schedule it for a future date/time. Any scheduled emails will show at the top of the list. This will include any emails automatically scheduled due to an applicant's response to a disqualifying question or a status change.
