An Employee's Guide to the BambooHR Time Kiosk

How do I use the BambooHR Time Kiosk?

Purpose: This guide will explain the functionality of the BambooHR Time Kiosk for an employee and show how to clock in and out.

Please note that your Employee ID may not be the same as your Employee # listed on your employee profile. If you have forgotten your ID number, contact your admin!

Clocking in with Time Kiosk is meant to be quick and easy. Take a look at the instructions below to learn the lay of the land!

Clocking in with the BambooHR Time Kiosk

  1. Search bar: Use the search bar to search for your first or last name.
  2. Sort A-Z: Tap to switch between A-Z and Z-A sorting
  3. Employee cards: Tap on your name to begin the clock-in or clock-out process.
  4. Clock in tutorial: If it's your first time clocking in (or if you just need a quick refresher), click the lightbulb icon at the bottom of the screen to initiate the Welcome Abroad tutorial.

Employee List Page

To clock in using BambooHR Time Kiosk, tap the screen to wake up the tablet and select your name. If your name and picture are not listed on the main screen, you can sort the list from A-Z, or use the search bar at the top of the screen.

Once you've found and tapped your employee card, enter your Clock-In ID and say cheese! Once you've entered your ID, click the arrow icon.

The employee login screen includes the following information:

  1. Employee Name & Job Title
  2. Hours Summary (Day, Week, and Pay Period)
  3. Clock in
  4. Projects & Tasks
Clocking in to a Project and Task
Switching Projects

To change your project or task when clocked in, log in as usual and select Projects & Tasks then Clock In. You'll see a confirmation modal and you can head back to work!

Successful Clock in

Once you've clocked in, you'll see a successful clock in message with the amount of time since you clocked in. If your admin has assigned projects and tasks to you, you'll also see the project and task you selected on the previous page.
