BambooHR Package Options
Purpose: To outline the features and benefits of each BambooHR package option—Core, Pro, and Elite.

Our Essentials and Advantage packages have been phased out, and all accounts transitioned to the Core or Pro packages as of May 1, 2025. As we consider the continuous evolution and shift within the HR landscape, we want to make sure we are offering plans that meet the various needs of your business. Sunsetting these legacy packages allows us to reinvest our resources into further innovation and will ensure we can continue to meet your needs for years to come.
Core
The Core package is for customers needing to lay an HR foundation for the future. Their HR information is everywhere. It is on paper, stuffed into filing cabinets, spread across spreadsheets, entered in multiple systems, and some of it may be in their head. With HR data being everywhere, it becomes difficult for them to respond to company needs because the data is inaccessible. They spend so much time trying to keep track of everything and cannot imagine doing anything more.
Pro
The Pro package is for customers needing to increase the impact they provide at their companies. They spend too much time on operational activities and cannot get to the strategic and high-impact activities they know their organizations need to be successful. They are looking for ways to do things better and more but do not know how to do it without help. With help, they can escape the characterization of being purely operational.
We have created a decision-maker toolkit for the Pro package to help guide conversations with your decision-makers. The toolkit includes the following:
- Downloadable slide deck for decision-makers
- Downloadable feature comparison one-pager
- Overview video of the new package
In addition to the above resource, we also have a cost and financial analysis PDF (see attachment below) that you can share with your stakeholders. It provides an overview of the Pro package and your return on investment.
Elite
The Elite package is for customers ready to transform their HR operations into a strategic powerhouse. They have a solid HR foundation and seek to leverage advanced analytics and insights to drive business growth. This package empowers them to anticipate company needs and position HR as a key driver of organizational success. With Elite, they can unlock the full potential of their workforce, enabling data-driven decision-making and fostering a culture of innovation
If your account has been migrated to Core or Pro, you can enroll in the following courses to maximize the benefits of your new package's features.
