Onboarding with BambooHR
What should I expect during the onboarding process as a new BambooHR customer?

Overview
Welcome to BambooHR! We are excited to help you get your data into BambooHR as quickly and efficiently as possible. How is this done? Through our friendly BambooHR onboarding process. Your HR project manager will contact you on how to get started, and most customers are up and running within a few weeks.
When you first log in, the Start Implementation button will appear on Home. Once you click Start Implementation and access your project plan, you will see the Continue Implementation button going forward.
Every customer is unique depending on your chosen package and add-ons, which is why a list of tailored modules will appear on your screen. Each module will guide you through the necessary steps to set up and prepare your unique BambooHR account. The following modules may appear in your account:
- Company Setup
- Employee Data
- Benefits
- Payroll*
- Payroll Settings*
- HR Implementation
- Payroll Registration*

Managing the experience
Click on the first module to begin. The onboarding plan contains the following elements to help you move through the process with ease in small, bite-size pieces.
- Steps: Each step will include a series of grouped tasks that work together. Steps will display an estimated time of completion. Please note that some steps have a variable time commitment, and therefore, will not display an estimation.
- Tasks: To keep each step of the way manageable, some steps included individual tasks. Use the progress bar at the bottom of the step to track your tasks. Once a task is complete, click Next to move on.
You can complete the steps in any order. However, you will need to complete tasks within a step in order. Some steps may have prerequisites that require you to complete prior steps and tasks before moving on to the next.
