E-Signature Email Notifications
What are the email notifications for e-signatures?
Purpose: We want you to be aware of what email notifications your employees might receive from us. This guide will show you an example of all automatic email notifications associated with e-signatures in BambooHR.
Email notifications will come from [email protected].
IMPORTANT: BambooHR does not have any control over the delivery of notifications. Some notifications could end up in the user's spam folder, which could delay the process. We recommend the following actions to assist in making sure these notifications are delivered correctly:
- For individual users, instruct them to mark the emails as not spam.
- For the HR Administrator, work with your IT department to add the emails for the whole company to the allow list.
Email notification of a signature request
When you request a signature, the signer will immediately receive an email notification with a button, Review & Sign, to click and complete the document in BambooHR.
Email notification of a signature reminder
If the signer has not completed the signature request, you can manually send them a reminder through the Signed Documents Report. The reminder will send immediately to the signer.
Email notification of a signature request for additional signers
If there are additional designated signers on a document, the next signer will receive a notification once the previous signer signs the document. In this scenario, Charlotte Abbott signed the document, then her manager (the next signer) received an email notification to sign the document too.

Once all required signers have completed the document, they and the requester will immediately receive an email notification with a link to view the signed document in BambooHR.
