E-Signatures in BambooHR
How does the e-signature process work in BambooHR?
Purpose: To help you understand what functionalities are available with BambooHR's e-signature feature. Our e-signature feature allows you to create documentation that you can send to an employee to fill out and sign electronically, then automatically upload back into BambooHR. E-signatures is a great way to streamline your paperwork and take the manual labor out of the process for you and your employees.
Create a signature template
To get started with e-signatures in BambooHR, you will first need to create a signature template. You can set the specific fields you need an employee to fill out when they sign a document. You can also designate which folder you would like the document to add to within the employee's Documents tab once the signing process is complete.
Request a signature
Once you create a signature template, you can send it out to as many employees as needed. To do this, go to the Files tab, hover over the specific template, and click on the pen icon.
Complete and sign the document
An employee will receive a notification letting them know of your signature request. They can review and sign the document by going to their inbox in BambooHR. Once they sign the document, it will automatically upload to the employee's documents tab in BambooHR in whichever folder you designated when creating the template.
Signed Documents report
The Signed Documents report allows you to easily see when your employees completed e-signatures and send reminders for pending signature requests.
