Plan Year Election Summary Report

What is the Plan Year Election Summary report?

Purpose: The Plan Year Election summary report is one of the three Benefits Administration reports available in BambooHR. This guide provides information on what the report shows and how you can use it.


Plan Year Election Summary

The Plan Year Election Summary report provides a complete set of enrollment data for a specific plan year. 

To access this report, navigate to Reports > Standard Reports. Click Plan Year Election Summary

  1. Plan year: After opening the report, you can filter changes by plan year.
  2. Plan category: This filter will automatically state "All plan categories." If you want to choose a specific plan category or multiple plan categories, click on the dropdown arrow and select which ones you want to include in the report. If choosing more than one plan category, the filter will change to show "[#] Selected." 
  3. Carrier: You will need to select a carrier from this filter. If choosing multiple carriers, the filter will change to "[#] Selected." Once all you set all filters, the Apply button will appear. Click Apply to generate the report.
  4. Export: If you need to download and export the report, you can choose CSV or Excel from the More dropdown menu.

The Enrollment Window Election Summary report filters enrollment data based on an enrollment window (i.e., open enrollment, new hire, or qualifying life event) while the Plan Year Election Summary report filters enrollment data based on the selected plan year.
