How to log in to the mobile app

- If your company uses Microsoft or Google SSO, tap Log in with Single Sign-on and follow the prompts.
- If your company requires 2-Step Login, you can set it up after creating or entering your password.

QR code
To enable logging in using a QR code, admins will need to enable it for the company. This setting can be found under Settings > Account > Login Settings > Mobile App QR Code Login.
Once that is set up employees will need to log in to the web app, click settings > Mobile App QR Code Login.
A modal will open with a QR code generated for logging in to the app. The QR code is usable on a limited basis (the code expires within 10 minutes and cannot be used again).
On the mobile login page, click Scan QR code to log in. Follow the prompts on the page, click Ready to Scan, grant camera access, and scan the QR code.
Another path to login is using the camera app of your OS to scan the QR code from this modal. There is a known issue where Android’s default camera will not successfully log in. To resolve this issue, tap the QR code login link within the app to scan, or scan using a 3rd party QR code scanner.
QR Code login will not work for any BambooHR support admins (those who log in using BambooHR Login) and is only available on the main BambooHR mobile app, not the BambooHR Hiring app.
For new employees, there are three ways to log in to the BambooHR app; username and password, single sign-on (SSO), or a combination of the two. Depending on what your company has set up, you will receive one of the following emails to set up and sign in to your account on the mobile app.
