Add a Comment to an Information Update Request

How do I add a comment to an information update request?

Purpose: Employees and approvers can comment back and forth on information update requests in their inboxes. This guide will show you how you can do this action in BambooHR.


Inbox

To add a comment to an information update request, find the appropriate request in your inbox, and add your comment in the available text entry box. Additionally, you can reply to the email notification that you received about a new information update request to add a comment.

Once you add a comment, other users listed in the information update approval workflow will receive an email associated with your comment. 


Can I edit or delete a comment?

Once you post a comment, you can edit or delete your comment. Additionally, there is an option to add a reply.

*The Account Owner and Full Admin user(s) can delete any comments at any time.
