What is BambooHR Home?
Purpose: BambooHR Home is where you find relevant information today. This includes announcements, notifications, time off balances, etc. It also includes the Insights dashboard for at-a-glance insights into different aspects of your company. This help guide will give you an overview of each of the widgets on Home.

Home
The information displayed on Home is unique to each user. Depending on the access granted, you may see New in the top right corner. This button would give you the option to add a new employee or create a new custom report. All users will see the Edit button, which allows them to add, remove, or rearrange certain widgets. See below for more information.
At the top of Home, the user's profile picture, preferred name, and job title will appear. If they hover over the information, they'll see the View My Info option, which will take them to their My Info tab.
There are three types of widgets: personal, company, and administrative. For detailed information about each of these widgets, click on the links below:
Personal (information shared only with the user logged in):

My Time
- This widget will appear to the user if they have purchased Time Tracking and enabled it in their account.
- Time Off

Goals/Training/Benefits
- The goals section will appear to the user if they have participated in goals with Performance Management.
- The Training section will appear to the user if they have any trainings assigned to them.
- The Benefits section will appear to the user if they have enrolled in at least one benefit.
- What's Happening
- Welcome (new hires)
Company (information shared with all employees):
Administrative (information shared only with the Account Owner, Full Admin user(s), managers, or custom access level users):
Each user can arrange their widgets to display in a manner that helps them be more productive. However, please note that the My Time, What's Happening, Time Off, Goals/Training/Benefits, and My Team Widgets are all static because the information contained in these widgets is so important that they will always stay at the top of the page.
To add, remove, or rearrange widgets, click Edit at the top of Home. You will see any available widgets you haven't added yet in the lower section. Click on the section to add any of those you want to Home. You can also click on the X for any widgets you want to remove (this excludes My Time, What's Happening, Time Off, Goals/Training/Benefits, Celebrations, Who's Out, Company Links, and My Team).
To rearrange a widget, simply click on the widget and drag it to the desired position.
