What Changes Will I See in TRAXPayroll with Autosync?

Purpose: When you are using Autosync, certain information will be removed from TRAXPayroll and solely tracked in BambooHR. This help guide will detail this information for you.

If you are using Autosync with your TRAXPayroll integration, a lot of your information will only be tracked in BambooHR. This means when you log into TRAXPayroll, you won't see a lot of the tabs that show for customers who are not using Autosync. The sections below will list out which tabs will not show anymore for each login type.

Administrator Login

Administrators have access to all information in TRAXPayroll. The following sections will not be available to administrators in TRAXPayroll when you are using Autosync:

  4. Company - General
  5. Company - Bank
  6. Company - Document
  7. Company - Hour Benefit Types
  8. Company - Hour Benefit Templates
  9. Company - Holiday

  11. Company - IP Restrictions 
  12. Company - Job
  13. Company - Job Category
  14. Company - Job Sub-Category
  15. Employee List - Bulk Edit
  16. Employee List - TimeCard Login
  17. Employee - General 
  18. Employee - Demographic
  19. Employee - Hour Benefits
  20. Employee - Bank
  21. Employee - Document
  22. Employee - Dependent
  23. Employee - Note
  24. Remote Link
  25. TRAXPayroll Time Card (Time Card, Reports, Time Off, Additional Pay/Expense, and Holiday)
  26. TRAXPayroll Benefits Enrollment
  27. Time Tracking API Integrations with 3rd Parties Directly into TRAXPayroll
Employee Profile Login

Employees have limited access to personal information in TRAXPayroll. The following sections will not be available to employees in TRAXPayroll when you are using Autosync:

  1. Employee Information
  2. Federal Withholding Section
  3. State Withholding Section
  4. Banking Information
  5. Employee Profile Login - Holidays
  6. Employee Profile Login - Hour Type Section
  7. My Documents Tab

If you are using Autosync with your TRAXPayroll integration, some of the tabs on the Company and Employee tab will show very limited information since most of the information is stored in BambooHR. We will perform individual Autosyncs whenever these pages are loaded to ensure you are shown the most current information. The sections below will list out what information will still show on the Company and Employee tabs.

Updates to the Company Tab

The following tabs will be available in TRAXPayroll with limited functionality. Below you will find what information is still editable on each remaining tab in TRAXPayroll.

  1. Company - Deductions: For synced company deductions, you will be able to do the following.
    1. Add/edit ledger name
    2. Add/edit ledger code
    3. Mark a pay type as excluded from deduction calculation
  2. Company - Pay Group
    1. Removed the ability to override estimated regular hours for Salary employees.
  3. Company - Branch: For synced company branches (Locations in BambooHR), you will be able to do the following.
    1. Add/edit ledger name
    2. Add/edit ledger code
  4. Company - Class: For synced company classes (Employment Status in BambooHR), you will be able to do the following.
    1. Add/edit ledger name
    2. Add/edit ledger code
  5. Company - Department: For synced company departments, you will be able to do the following.
    1. Add/edit ledger name
    2. Add/edit ledger code
  6. Company - Division: For synced company divisions, you will be able to do the following.
    1. Add/edit ledger name
    2. Add/edit ledger code

Note: Each time you open one of these tabs in TRAXPayroll, we will run an individual Autosync of the information to ensure you are seeing the most current information from BambooHR.

The following tabs will be available in TRAXPayroll with limited functionality. Below you will find what information is still editable on each remaining tab in TRAXPayroll.

  1. Employee - General:
    1. Workers Comp
  2. Employee - Wage: For synced wage records, customers will be able to do the following.
    1. Add Recurring Pay Amount and Type (up to 3).
  3. Employee - Tax
    1. Manage custom taxes on employees
    2. Exclude selected taxes on employees

Note: Each time you open one of these tabs in TRAXPayroll, we will run an individual Autosync of the information to ensure you are seeing the most current information from BambooHR.
