Manage Time Off

Purposes: Employee Time Off requests are managed on the "Manage Time Off" tab in "Time Sheet." Managers and payroll administrators can edit, approve, or deny employee requests. This help guide will show you how you can manage employee time off requests.

What if I am using the BambooHR Integration?

If you are using the BambooHR integration and have BambooHR Time Tracking, you will want to refer to this help guide to learn how to record time off and this help guide to learn how to approve time off in BambooHR.

Manage Time Off

To manage employee time off requests, navigate to the "Manage Time Off" tab under "Time Sheet."

  1. Filter: You can filter the list of time off requests based on any of the filters in the search section, including the status: Pending, Approved, or Cancelled. In order to see only requests that are pending approval, simply filter the list to pending requests only.
  2. Employee Request: Each employee request will be listed with the date, hour type, number of hours, current and future balance.
  3. Bulk Action (Approve or Deny): You can take action on multiple requests at a time by checking the box next to each of the requests. Then click the action button and select whether you'd like to approve or deny each of the selected requests.
  4. Edit Request: Click the "Edit" link next to a request to make changes. Simply enter the changes to the request and click "Update."
  5. Cancel Request: Click "Cancel Request" to remove the request from the list. You will be able to find canceled requests by filtering the list by status.
  6. Search: You can narrow your search results down by using the filter fields in the top section and then clicking "Search".
