Purpose: Our training service is dedicated to empowering you to become a BambooHR pro! We aim to bridge knowledge gaps and provide virtual training opportunities. 


If you are looking for a BambooHR representative to work with you to help you set up a feature, or you want to learn more about the tool itself, you might be interested in our hourly training. 

We offer virtual training sessions, during which you can meet with a BambooHR project associate to discuss various topics. These sessions are primarily designed to assist Full Admin users with BambooHR, but they can also be used to train custom access level users, such as recruiters. 

Feature setup training

Our project associate can work with your admins to help train them to set up the following features:

  • Access levels and enabling access
  • Emergency contacts and dependents
  • Announcements
  • Reports (standard or custom)
  • E-signatures
  • Time Off categories and policies
  • Time Off tab on employee profile (assignments, manual adjustments, etc.)

Feature education

These calls educate your admin users on the ins and outs of a particular feature. They focus more on the daily use of a feature than its configuration. These training sessions are great for learning how a tool works and its intended experience.

Training cost and scheduling

Training is charged at an hourly rate of $200 and is billed before the service. Once our Billing team receives your payment, a project associate will contact you directly to schedule a meeting. 

We can only guarantee or reserve a training session date once payment is received.


FAQ

How quickly can I schedule a training session?

Please let us know if you are interested in a training session with one of our project associates. Training slots fill up quickly and typically are scheduled one to two weeks in advance. Please note that training sessions are required to be completed within 30 days of purchase. This policy helps us provide timely and relevant support for your business.

How are the training sessions held?

In accordance with our security policies, all training sessions are conducted via Zoom with the project associate, who will reach out to you directly to schedule your meetings. Training sessions are “hands-on” and attendees need to be logged into BambooHR and ready to share their screen. 

Who should attend our training sessions?

We recommend a Full Admin user be in attendance at your training sessions. We are only able to train users to the access they have in their BambooHR account. 

How many people can attend a training session?

We recommend a maximum of four attendees per training session. Our project associates have observed that sessions with more participants often turn into internal company meetings rather than effective training opportunities.

Please note that each training session will conclude at the end of the scheduled hour, even if not all questions have been addressed. 

If you have more users who require training, we recommend either holding multiple sessions with fewer attendees or recording your training sessions and sharing them with your team later. 

Can I get a recording of my training session?

BambooHR does not provide recordings of training sessions. While BambooHR does not offer recordings of these sessions, you are welcome to record them for your personal use. To do so, please ensure you attend from a device that has recording capabilities.

What if I need additional training sessions?

We are happy to provide additional training hours if you need more support after your training session. Just let your project associate know at the end of your session if you would like to schedule additional sessions. 

Additionally, many customers find that our Help Center and Learning Center resources, included in your subscription, help answer any remaining questions. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance!
