Missing Data

The Missing Data report can be the most effective way to make sure that your reports and employee profiles are complete. The report identifies important data fields from the personal and job tab and allows you an easy way to fill in that data. This can make your job a breeze in making sure your employee profiles are accurate and up to date!

Missing Data
  1. Each data field is marked as either important or not important. This dropdown menu allows you to filter the various fields based on their importance level: Important and Not Important, or you can choose All.
  2. The Missing column shows you the number of employees who do not have data in a specific field. Clicking on the number link will take you to a list of the individual employees. From there, you can then click on the first employee, fill out any missing information, and use the arrow button to move to the next employee on the list.
  3. If you prefer to use the power edit tool for the field, you can click Power Edit, which appears when you hover over a specific line. This action automatically selects each of the employees who have missing data and allows you to fill in the information and update it using the power edit tool.
  4. If the shown field is one that you would like to mark as Not Important, click on this link to have the field show on the Not Important tab, and you can edit it in the future from there. (Fields on the Not Important tab that has an Important link give you the option to change their status for this report.)
  5. If you click Power Edit All, it will allow you to use the power edit tool to fix the missing data for all applicable employees at once. Please keep in mind that using this option may not be feasible depending on how much data needs to be updated. Please remember that power editing any table fields will always add a new line to the table.
  6. If you want to share the report, you can click on the share icon and choose to send a one-time email to individuals you are sharing the report with.

Please note that power editing a field housed within a table will not edit your current line of data in the table, but create a new line for the table with the date you utilized the power edit tool.
